Home Theater has been at the core of development in our Dynavox audio brand. Today’s large high definition flat screen Television sets demand an audio system to match and bring the theater experience home. Movies are broadcast in 5.1 digital sound to capture all of the action and realism of the movie. The problem has been the complexity of connecting multiple speakers, particularly the rear speakers.

Sound bars have been the solution to a simple and quick installation. A sound bar in order to duplicate the movie theater experience must have an amplifier that can produce at least 200 clean (RMS) watts and amplified sub-woofer. All major brands provide a separate powered sub-woofer to accomplish this criteria. Dyanavox has introduced the first all-in-one sound bar: The AcoustaBar series. Starting at 250 watts and maxing out at 520 watts. Dynavox has been able to accomplish this with its patented sound compression engine and built-in dual sub-woofers. In addition, all AcoustaBar units utilize the SRS 3D technology to create room filling surround sound. Some models feature a built-in certified iPod dock.

Dynavox will shortly introduce its latest innovation using the patented sound compression engine: ACOUSTABASE. The is the first single cabinet sound bar that solves the problem of where to put the sound system. AcoustaBase is placed under any flat screen TV up to 55”. The AcoustaBase has a built in turntable that permits rotation of the TV and sound bar to maximize viewing and listening.
